What kind of hardware and software do I need to broadcast on Cams?
The hardware requirements are simple:
- We support any Operating System that can successfully run the Flash browser plugin including Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.
- USB or Firewire Webcam
This is highly recommended. While a built-in (laptop) webcam will work, we recommend an external HD webcam for the clearest broadcast. - Video Camera
High definition cameras with USB 2.0 or Firewire connections are highly recommended. High definition cameras will provide the best video quality. - Broadband Internet Connection
DSL, Cable modem, or better (You will need to show proof of your connection).
